Hirokazu Kanazawa

Hirokazu KanazawaHirokazu Kanazawa founded Shotokan Karate-do International in 1977. Legendary in his craft, Kanazawa, who won the All-Japan Karate Championships in 1957 and for three consecutive years thereafter, remains one of the premiere practitioners of Shotokan karate today. His karate regimen is based on discipline and focused attention of the basic techniques. Its results is physical and spiritual growth, power, grace and balance.

Sensei Kanazawa is one of the last direct students of Master Gichin Funakoshi, the founder of Shotokan Karate-Do. His long career as Master Instructor began in 1960. Since that time Sensei Kanazawa has earned world-wide respect as one of the highest level and most popular karate practitioners. He continues to travel world-wide, bringing with him values, and the highest level of karate knowledge to be found. Sensei Kanazawa is truly one of the few who have earned the title of Grand Master (Kancho). His rank is 10th Dan.

Jonathan Kwok

Jonathan KwokBegan martial arts training in 1966 at the age of 14 in Hung Kar style of Chinese kung fu. In 1970, started training in Shotokan Karate with KUGB organization in England, and has been teaching karate since 1973.

Was appointed Chief Instructor of South-East Asia by Kanazawa Kancho from 1988-1995. Traveled extensively teaching karate in India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Philippines, Australia, and the United States.
